PRECIS 2001
A flipped Mitsubishi Precis, run over by a tank, in the abandoned base housing at George AFB near Victorville, CA. There were several smashed cars left in strategic lines of sight used for infantry cover during war games exercises. The engine block in this thing was crushed like an egg. 160T film. Today, salvagers and vandals have dragged any objects left inside the buildings into the streets. Canon 20D. The abandoned residential neighborhood on the hill above Hunters Point Naval Shipyard, San Francisco, CA. About 20 perfectly good houses, untouched for 30 years. The entire neighborhood was torn down as part of the redevelopment of the base in 2006, even the trees and streets were removed.
