Overlook of one of the abandoned drydocks at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard, San Francisco, CA. The cranes were removed in 2005. PRECIS 2001
A flipped Mitsubishi Precis, run over by a tank, in the abandoned base housing at George AFB near Victorville, CA. There were several smashed cars left in strategic lines of sight used for infantry cover during war games exercises. The engine block in this thing was crushed like an egg. 160T film. On the north side of the abandoned Fort Ord Army Base in Monterey, CA is a huge tract of abandoned housing. Hundreds of houses stand open to the elements. Today, salvagers and vandals have dragged any objects left inside the buildings into the streets. Canon 20D. On the north side of the abandoned Fort Ord Army Base in Monterey, CA is a huge tract of abandoned housing. Today, sections of this development are used for tactical war games training with select buildings marked as objectives. The abandoned residential neighborhood on the hill above Hunters Point Naval Shipyard, San Francisco, CA. About 20 perfectly good houses, untouched for 30 years. The entire neighborhood was torn down as part of the redevelopment of the base in 2006, even the trees and streets were removed.
